acronis true image 11 home detects usb device as mounted drive

I have Acronis Trueimage 11 Home and a software package called Goodsync wich take care of the synchronisation of my user data (to a external harddisk). Since a short time Acronis detects any usb device as a mounted drive and gives it also another icon. No i having problems with my synchronisation software because it doesn't work. Is there a solution whitout uninstalling it?

I don't see how TI detecting anything can cause other software to fail; TI won't be able to see devices that Windows hasn't already detected and mounted.

Which Windows version are you using and what is the problem that Goodsync has exactly?
