Acronis True Image 2014 Premium - Change SID

Thread needs solution

I have been using Acronis imaging since version 8 and have always had the option to change the SID after recovering a Windows image. In version 2014 I cannot find that option anywhere.

I created the image from a bootable USB drive and sent the image to a network share. I imaged the entire disk, including the Windows System partition and the main C:\ drive, as well as the HP recovery partitions. When recovering the image to an identical machine, I do not get the option to Change SID after recovery. This is a show stopper! All of these machines will be in the same domain, and no matter what you read on the internet, it is not good to have machines with identical SIDs!

How do I get the option to change the SID in this version?

Some options:

1. Try using the Universal Restore feature to restore the image to the other computers. This should change the SID.

2. Do generalized sysprep on the master machine. Then boot the recovery media and take an image to deploy to the target machines. After you get that image you can restore the original non-syspreped image to the master machine.
