Acronis Will not start

Thread needs solution

I bought an upgrade & plus pack of your true image home 2012 in Dec/Jan and have only just got around to installing it on my system - Clean reinstall of windows:
CPU - i7
Memory - 24GB DDR3
HHD - 6.3TB
Graphics - ATI 4800
Win7 Ultimate x64

true image installed and I then restarted my system I have then run the program and nothing happens if i go to Task Manager>processes it is there but the program does not load I have uninstalled and reinstalled I have done a repaire and the same thing happens the program loads in processes and thats it.

I have used a number of your products in the past with only minor issues not only home but within my work but this is poor.

I have come on your site to find that the only help you offer is this poor service unless I pay extra - sorry this will be the last time I buy or recommend your products again if the only way to get help is on forums
I would ask for my money back but I cant contact you without it costing me the price of the software.

Hello Doug,

I had the same behavior on my Windows 7 Ultimate 32-bit. Changing the compatibility mode for “TrueImageLauncher.exe” to “Windows XP SP3 and Run as Administrator” helps to resolve this problem. It looks that there is some compatibility problem with Windows 7.

Regards, Milan

Hi Thanks for your suggestion I will try that once I'm able to get it installed as I took it off and now won't go back on

Thank you for your response it seems another of your customers has come across this issue and offered an option to try but I'm unable to try as I took Trueimage off and now won't install saying installation failed contact customer support.
