Any way to make Bootable Media with preselected options?

Thread needs solution

I like to make my backups using Acronis' bootable .iso but I always have to step-thru the various options e.g. "Full Backup" (usually defaults to Incremental) and "Validation" which is un-checked normally and I always Verify!

Is there no way to create a bootable media disk/thumbdrive with certain of these options preselected according to my needs?

tom,
I am not aware of the current versoins offering this. This opiton was once a standard feature of the older versions prior to the last 4 versions.

Thanks GroverH, I was sure you would know about this! Makes me want to install ATI6 or 7 on one of my PCs to confirm--I just don't remember that.

I suppose Acronis has its reasons for not making such things easier but then again from their POV the rescue media is viewed as a "desperate measure". I prefer to use it rather than install to Windows at all.

I agree with you. I use the Rescue Media regularly. I'd like it of the Rescue Media could save a set of user options, saved to a file on the Rescue Media media, that would automatically configure the Rescue Media's options upon boot.

Yes, this could be of benefit to many. Why not add your comments to this link below. The CD is long overdue for overhaul.

I need to write up such a suggestion for the MVP forum.
