Is ATI 11 broken on Intel 6 series motherboards?

Thread needs solution

I boot using the ATI rescue disk to recover an image and the recovery time is absurdly long. It is a triple boot system without about 600 gigabytes of data across 2 hard drives. ATI is telling me it will take 5 days to recover?!...I never had this problem on an Intel x58 platform.
There seems to be an issue here and is unrelated to USB 2 or 3 speeds or even if the image is on an internal SATA drive. There somethign wrong with the linux drivers used in the recovery disk/environment that simply does not play nice between a 6 series mobo/chipset (or at least the gigabyte p67-ud7-b3 that I am currently using) and Acronis true image home 11.
Any one else seeing this?....I guess it is time to change back-up software.

Hello Bob!

Thank you for your post, I will be glad to help you with the issue.

You are correct, this might be the issue with the bootable media. Anyway in order to localize the issue we would advise you to download the latest updated bootable media in ISO format, burn it onto the CD and check whether the issue remains.

Should the problem reoccur, please gather Acronis Linux Report, submit a case with the information attached, and let us know its number.

Let me know if you have any questions!

Thank you.
