ATI 2009 can't backup to NTFS formatted external USB drive - says it's read only.

ATI 2009 bootable CD can't backup to NTFS formatted external USB drive - says it's read only.

I read a post on this forum that says a linux style ATI 2009 bootable CD can't write to a NTFS formatted drive and that i need to create a windows style bootable CD.

There is not option in ATI 2009 that lets me create a windows style bootable CD.

However, i can still use the ATI bootable CD to backup the system drive to a networked computer's NTFS drive.

Why can the same ATI 2009 bootable CD backup to an internal or network NTFS drive but not a NTFS formatted external USB drive?

What can i do?
