ATI 2010 Build 6.029 - the same errors

Thread needs solution

Dear Acronis support,
I had to pay a lot of money to upgrade from ATI 2009 to ATI 2010 .
Today I've installed build 6.029 .
- Thank's, now it's possible to recover a saved HD partition .
- It's NOT possible to mount an image !
- It's NOT possible to mark the last of 4 scheduled tasks for shutdown !
- After finishing ATI the process TrueImage.exe is pending . So I have to kill it manually .
How long shall I wait to get quality for my money ??
My configuration :
Dell XPS M1330 with Vista Home 32 bit SP2 and all actual patches

Please let me apologize for the inconvenience you experienced with our products. I will assist you with this situation.

We haven't faced any common issues with mounting in 6.029 build of Acronis True Image Home 2010, so could you please clarify, what exactly happens when you're trying to mount an image?

Which archive are you trying to mount (it must be partition or HDD backup, since file backup cannot be mounted by default)? What do you see in Disk Management (Start->Run->diskmgmt.msc) after mount attempt?

Also, there's a possibility to run any task Upon Event schedule. So in order to shut your PC down after backup you should choose Upon Event -> Shutdown task type. The detailed information about this schedule can be found in 13.1. Chapter of this User's Guide.

If this does not help, could you please clarify, what happens when you're running those tasks upon shutdown?

Now, regarding the crash: what does this process crash? Could you please provide me with the exact sequence of actions that lead to the issue you report, so that I can try to reproduce it?

Could you please do the following?
- Reproduce the issue (application crash);
- Do not close the "Application has stopped working" window;
- Run Task Manager (press Ctrl-Shift-Esc buttons);
- Go to "Processes" tab and right-click on the crashed process;
- Select "Create Dump File" item from the menu;
- Pick up the .DMP file created and send it to us;
- Open Start->Run (or press Windows-R buttons) type "%USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\WER\ReportArchive" string without quotes and hit Enter key
- After that you will see a folder (or a few folders), the name of which starts with "Report"
Please note that you may add the two collected files into rar or zip archive file. Also, please do the following in order to collect additional information:

- Download the file;
- Run the downloaded file
The gathered information will be put in adv_report.zip in the same folder, where the AcronisInfo was saved.
Running AcronisInfo may take up to 5 minutes.

Then submit a request for technical support. Attach all the collected files and information to your request and the link to this thread, after that, please provide me with the case number you receive from our system so I can speed up the process. We will do our best to investigate the problem and provide you with a solution.
