ATI 2010 non-stop recovery FAILS!
So, disaster struck. I thought I was well protected with ATI 2010 (build 6053) running non-stop on my machine.
So, I ran the recover, and had it attempt to restore then entire disk, picked the last time it update.
It ran for over 12 hours, says it completed successfully. But the resulting image was corrupted, and irreparable.
I ran it twice with the same results.
I assume at this point I am just screwed, but any ideas?
(my machine is a relatively new i7 X58 machine, with 16G of RAM. My backup image is on an eSATA drive, and my target drive is a RAID 0 array.)

I have a similar problem with the ATI 2010 Home, Nonstop process failure. My system is a HP dv9820us laptop running Win Vista x64, 4 GB RAM, using a USB connected Seagate GoFlex Pro 500 GB HDD. I had not used the product for some time after installing it. The Build 6053 required updating to Build 7046. However, on running both the regular backup and the Nonstop Backup, each process failed with an apparent "storage error" (I re-tried it several times with the same result). The attached MS Word 2003 document chronicles my bitter experience with this product. I have tried to search both the Acronis website and the Internet seeking a potential solution, but without success. Please advise what is required to resolve this important issue. Appreciatively, Bruce

I'm at work at the moment so this is a rusdhed thought.
Have you tried plugging the external drive into a different USB port, preferably a rear one and have no card readers or graphics tablets attached at all (if attached of course)?
When you checked in Services was the CDP service stopped or running, ditto for the scheduler2 was it running or stopped when the problem occurs?

Hi Colin: Thanks for your response. As you may discern from the content of my attached document, I have tried, among other potential solutions, to restart each of the two processes in services.msc, then retry the ATI NSB process - each time resulting in yet another failure. Changing the USP slot does not change the overall resulting failure. It still appears to me that there is a bug with Build 7046 working under my Vista x64 SP2 on my HP dv9820us laptop system (320 GB HDD, 4 MB RAM, Zone Alarm Extreme Security 2009, Seagate GoFlex Pro 500 GB USB HDD). I remain hopeful that an Acronis Tech representative will intervene to address my issue. Appreciatively, Bruce
