ATI 2011 Nonstop Backup (Folders & Files) deletes MP4 files

Thread needs solution

I have ATI 2011 Nonstop Backup running which backups my documents folder. When I create an MP4 file with Camtasia Studio 7.1 within a sub-folder of the documents folder this file will be deleted after some seconds. But I can see the deleted file in the time line of the NSB.
If the produced file is another format like AVI or M4V the file will be OK. Also, if I pause NSB a newly created MP4 file will also stay there as expected.

Wolfgang,

Would it be possible that you have iTunes or some other player that would add the MP4 to its library by default? Are you positive the files are not being moved somewhere else?

Pat,

No, I don't have such software running. Also, as soon as I pause NSB everything is fine and the MP4 stays put (see my first post).

Wolfgang

After deleting and re-creating the Nonstop Backup everything runs fine now.
I have no idea what was going on with the old Nonstop Backup. The files and folders to backup are the same and also the destination drive is the same. At least this gives reason for distrust concerning ATI's Nonstop Backup.
