ATI 2011 says "Operation has succeeded" even when it failed!

Thread needs solution

I'm using ATI 2011 (build 6868). The scheduled backup task places the output on a network drive and sends an email with the log. I'm on the road at the moment and the network drive is not available so the scheduled backups have, as expected, been failing. However, the backup log (and also the subject line of the email) says that the "Operation has succeeded"! HUH? Here's the latest log:
1 Information 9/8/2011 11:20:56 AM Operation CGLAPTOP7 HD0 Backup started.

16 Information 9/8/2011 11:23:09 AM Operation has succeeded.

Note that although the network drive is not available and therefore the backup failed, line 16 says that the backup succeeded! The subject line of the email that ATI sent me was "CGLAPTOP7 HD0 Backup Task completed successfully." This can't be working as designed!

It sounds like the error handling routine is buggy. I'd send the info to tech to be sure that Acronis sees it.

I've got the same problem as well.

I don't know if it is related, but prior to getting this I had the problem with the system hanging at shutdown saying "Operations are in progress. Please wait. The machine will be turned off automatically after the operations are complete" despite no backup operations running at the time.
