ATI 2015 Scheduled Full Backup Didn't Run

Thread needs solution

Hi,
I'm using ATI 2015 on a laptop running Windows 8.1. Last night about an hour prior to the scheduled full backup run I connected my external hard drive to the laptop, verified it mounted with the correct drive letter, and shutdown all applications. This morning I checked the external hard drive before doing anything on the laptop and found backup file ASUS Full Backup_full_b10_s1_v1.tib, but the size was 0KB. I didn't see any notifications, so I checked email for a failure message. There were no emails from Acronis. I started the ATI 2015 application and the backup started automatically. It ran successfully and sent a email notification. The email only contained messages about this morning's run. This morning's run used backup file b10. I verified that the Acronis Scheduler2 Service was running. I haven't noticed anything in the User Guide stating that ATI 2015 has to be started in order for a scheduled task to run. Did I miss something that should have been set in my backup scheme?

I have enough space for four more backups before the external disk drive fills, and notification is supposed to occur when I have less than 200MB free. I have 498GB free.

I have no problems doing this with ATIH 2013. In fact that is the way it ran last night on a Windows 7 laptop. Does ATI 2015 have to started in order for scheduled tasks to run?

Thanks. My "Allow Wake Timers" was disabled for Battery and Plugged In. I have enabled them. When I checked my backup scheme Advanced Schedule options, the wake option button was already checked. I'm not sure if I set it while creating the backup scheme. Thanks again.
