ATI causing longer start time after Windows 10 Anniversary update

Thread needs solution

I have updated to Windows 10 Anniversary. After I did Windows start up time (not boot time) extended greatly. If I uninstall the start up time is back to normal, if I reinstall again - long start up time.

Has anybody else has a similar issue? Is it that ATI 2015 is now incompatible?

I have even reinstalled W10 again, problem still exists

Christopher, there have been various problems reported associated with the Windows 10 AU update, and while ATIH 2015 was originally tested by Acronis and validated for use with Windows 10, that was a long time ago and with the original initial public release of 10.

I can only suggest trying to stop or at least delay the start of the various Services / Programs that Acronis starts on each system start - see KB document: 44350: Acronis True Image 2015/2014: Processes and Services

There are some services that can be disabled if you do not use them such as Non Stop Backup or Sync.

There are utility programs that can allow you to put a delay for specific programs at startup, i.e. Glary Utilities.
