ATI2012 with updated Sync agent just syncs forever

Thread needs solution

I updated the Sync Agent earlier this week and set a folder to sync with another one on my NAS. Everything is authenticated. However, in my status bar, I see that ATI is synchronizing and it is stuck at 0%. See attached snapshot.

It has been like this for 16 hours so far. The content of the folder is only 90MB in size. If I reboot, it is no different. I can browse to the UNC patch without issues and without being prompted for credentials.

Does it actually sync though?

Actually, it does and the tray icon still says 0% complete so I'm not sure what's going on.

And I found another bug.

You add a file to Folder A which ATI2012 will sync with Folder B. Behavior expected.
Move the file out of Folder A. ATI2012 will see it as deleted and deletes it from Folder B. Behavior expected.
Put the file back in Folder A. ATI2012 will again report that the file was deleted and delete it from Folder A. BUG!

At this point, I lost my file because ATI2012 doesn't put it in the recycle bin.

Hi MArc

i did see this bug as well in the time i was using ATI2012. May be it depends on the time between deletion and put it back. Acronis sync amy have an guard time till new changes are accepted.......

Actually, what it looks like is that ATI2012 sees his own actions as a folder change that needs to be rippled to the other side. When ATI deleted the file in Folder B, it shouldn't see this as an actionable change. I tried waiting 5 minutes before putting the file back in Folder A and it still gets deleted.

In addition, should ATI put locally deleted files in the recycle bin?

"Actually, what it looks like is that ATI2012 sees his own actions as a folder change....."

This may be the reason for the huge ammount of file versions from files i never changed during sync process.....
