ATIH 2012 Update 2 Build 7119 Online Backup Issues

Thread needs solution

I have over 250GB of files I want to backup online. ATIH 2012 Online Backkup is a good option. I synced the files to backup from my NAS to a drive on my local computer. I setup the backup and started it. The online backup options in ATIH 2012 does not offer me the encryption key window as shown in the user guide. I can't find any way to enter an encryption key.

Last night I started the backup and awoke this moring to find it failed due to request timeouts and "there is a problem on the server" and then it cancelled the backup. I searched online to learn more from the error codes but the search fails to find the error codes.

Running WIN 7 Ultimate with all updates installed.

I guess my files will not be encrypted if the current job finishes. Is this so new the error codes are not recognized? Does anyone know why I don't see an encryption key input screen?

Any assistance appreciated.

I started a new online backup at 0946 today. at 1535 it was canceled. I'm not sure what is going on. A few errors but they don't make sense to me (too much detail for this nonprogrammer). I am attacheing the log files since 6/1 if that helps any.

Larry,

I'm unable to look at your log file just now, but from what you have posted it sounds as though there is a timeout problem.

Could you try backing up a smaller amount, say a couple of 50 MB files, then again with some 100MB's and then finally with a 750MB, see if any of those fail.

Are you on ADSL, DSL or dial up?

Is TIH itself working properly?

I am on Comcast Cable for network connection. Recent test on Speak Easy was 35Mbps down, 5Mbps up. I have been having some strange nonrepeatable issues recently. WIN 7 has never been reloaded since installed a couple of years or more ago. It may be time to format and reinstall. But no software issues I am aware of.

I have a laptop I may try this with just to eliminate the computer as a problem. It runs WIN 7 as well.

Since it is a timeout and I do recall an error that said it was a server error, I am wondering if Acronis is having server issues of some sort. I have ujploaded some information to the server and want to delete it. When I try to delete the data I receive the following message: "Sorry, the Storage Server is not available now. Please try again later." I have been receiving this message for two days now trying to access through IE logged onto my Acronis account. I get the same message when I use the laptop which makes me wonder about the online storage server. I don't know how to get Acronis to look into possilble server issues.

Thank you for your input/assistance. I thought this would be easy since I use ATIH and it is very reliable.
