ATIH 2014 deleting unwanted backup files - how?????
Win7 64 bit, Acronis True Image Home Premium 2014.
I make differential backups after a full volume backup of one partition on my drive.
e.g. Afull - Adiff1- Adiff2 - Adiff3 - Adiff4....... Since the backups are made differentially only 2 files are always needed for a recovery, e.g. Adiff4 and Afull. I still cannot find any way to get rid of the files inbetween or thereafter if I wish so to free space on my backup medium. Than MUST be somehow possible in my opinion. This feature cannot be missing!
I read that going to Recovery, choosing the backup one wants to delete, right mouse button clicking should bring about a menu with the choice to delete. I can't see anything like that.
At the moment I manually delete what I want, transfer to two left over files to another directory "backupold" and start a new backup again in the empty directory "backup". Recovery of backups I do then via boot CD. That cannot be the only peculiar solution to the problem of deleting old versions.
How can I deliberately choose which version of a volume backupt to delete?????
I wanted to upload a screenshot, unfortunately "Validation error, please try again. If this error persists, please contact the site administrator." so it is here https://www.dropbox.com/s/6e8vesxuekirybi/ATIH2014.png?dl=0
