Automatic cleanup settings not saved
I know this has been asked, and i read the replies...
my Automatic cleanup settings are not saved.
I created anew backup and clicked on the OK button lastly, after changing the settings.
The changes to the backup scheme setting i am creating are not saved.
I am using the latest version of ATI 2015.
Any help would be welcome.

Thank you for the reply. I tried again, starting a new backup plan as seen in the images.
I saved the backup and clicked the OK button at the ed of the process.
When selected this backup and checked its properties i found out that the scheme was "stuck" on the custom scheme as can bee seen in the images.
could save the scheme but when i check the properties of the.
If i changed the "custom scheme" to "mine", which the scheme i saved, it showed to proper scheme but after hitting OK/save and reopening to inspect the settings it showed "custom scheme" again.
If i want to make things even more confusing i'll tell you that on the 3rd time i opened the new backup plan to inspect the scheme, even the"mine" scheme was reverted back to the default scheme...
Any suggestions?

Your problem is the program function you wish to use is not working and needs fixing by Acronis. Who knows when that might occur.
Problem which has been reported before. Here is a recent link where your problem discussed.
https://forum.acronis.com/forum/96972
\However, you can make automatic cleanup work for you if you do not try to assign your own names for the custom schemes.
In order for automtic cleanup to work, the name of the scheme must be "custom scheme" chosen from the scheme window as per this illustration.
Start over again with a new task and choose "custom scheme" for the scheme name.
Choose your full plus 4 differentials, and Store no more than 1 recent verson chain.
Your chain length is 5 files (full +4 diff) and your retention quota is 1 chain (store 1).
You can expect the automatic cleanup/deletion of the oldest chain (all of B1) to occur seconds after Full B2 appears as a success backup.
The next subsequent cleanup/deletion will occur after each future full backup.

Thank you GroverH for this last post.
I have been struggling for days to get this to work with my own scheme name and had just come to the conclusion that I could not make it work with anything but CUSTOM. If I use SAVE AS then it reverts to default settings of only save incremental versions - I am trying to create a version that saves 3 increments per chain and keeps 3 chains.
Unfortunately I was hoping to be able to set up more than one personal scheme - I guess I just have to wait for Acronis to fix their software?

Thank you for the reply.
I tried your method and at least the scheme settings seem to stick.
I can only wait for the next schedule backup to verify if it really works.
?As for a software fix, is there a way to contact Acronis support directly and report this?
My support subscription ended a month after purchasing the software. This for itself is very odd since for most programs the support period does not end so soon.
?Is there a chance they will fix this since Acronis 2016 is released?

This has been reported but the more reports help to establish a need.

This problem exists in the most current 2016 version at the time of this posting.
Who know when it will get fixed?? The problem is not new.

I have the same problem. Its really annoying and makes the product extremely unhandy.
@ACRONIS: Please fix this bug in TI 2016 or you will loose customers!
