Back up of deleted or file fragments

Hi

Please can leaned among you please help me with two questions on Acronis Tru Image 2009.

1) When I back up an image of my hard drive to a network hard drive, do I also back up deleted files or fragments thereof
2) Also when I clone my hard drive to another larger drive again do I also back up deleted files or fragments thereof
