Backing up SSD and HDD?

Thread needs solution

I have a 500GB SSD with OS and Applications on it and a 1TB HDD for file storage. Can I backup both disks in a single backup and then restore the correct data to each drive? Will I be able to recover the Windows 7 Pro 64 system and applications to the SSD in ready to run condition in case of a catastrophic failure?

Thanx for your time and info.

You do not say which version of TrueImage.

Yes, you can include both drives inside the one backup task. There is a mix of users which do both methods. The data will be kept separate and identifiable and you can restore any or all--whatever you choose from inside one backup.

It sounds as if you may be new to TrueImage. If so, review link #2 inside my signature below. Start off with the backup type being a "disk image" or "disk mode" backup as per illustration 1 inside that link. You can checkmark both disks so all data on both disks will be included. Also, look at illustrations 11-Full; 11-Inc and 11-Dif. One of those styles should fit your needs. Use the custom backup scheme and choose automatic cleanup so the progam will handle the deletion of old backups.

Others may respond differently as there is no "one method fits all".
