Thread needs solution

Hi All

I have a question... i have setup a full system backup as follows:
Backup type: Differential
Occurance: Daily
Create new full backup after 7 differential backups
Automatic Consolidation: 14 days

This is the first time I have ever setup a backup but from the above I was expecting the backup to run daily, produce new full backup after 1 week & automatically delete the backups after 14 days. This way I worked out that I would always have 1 full week of backups to roll back should I need to.

Now the task has been running fine until today when the task completed but with the above error. On the calendar it shows in red indicating that the backup has failed, but when I look in the storage location the backup file (tib) is there. Also it appears that today is day 14 & the original full backup should have deleted but is still present.

Any help on the above in extremely appreciated

Hello,

Please accept our apologies for the delay with the response.

I'll do my best to help you.

Most likely, the issue was caused by the malfunction of Acronis Scheduler, which is a component of Acronis Backup Software. So to fix it, please update that component the following way:

  1. Download the latest build of Acronis Scheduler;

  2. Run the downloaded file. It will automatically update the service;

    See if the issue is resolved. If it is not, then please proceed with steps 3 and 4:

  3. Reboot the machine;
  4. Recreate the scheduled tasks.

If the issue still persists, please collect AcronisInfo output and submit a support request.

Please reply to this thread if you need any further assistance.

Thank you.
