Backup of Drive C. doesn't run
Hi together,
I installed True Image Home 2010 with the newest update 6053 and tried to do a backup of my Partition C:. After some minutes and 10% of progress the system is frozen. After 10 hours the progress is always on the same position (10%). What can I do? Why doesen't run backup?
System: MS-Vista. The System is installed in Partition C (two Drive Raid 0)
See attachment (sorry in German)

I understand your pain and concern but I for one do not suffer these problem so I can't offer a solution. for me at least ti 2010 does work and creates reliable backups .
Are there bugs? sure.
do I have work arounds? -yes.
As for your specific problem if it occured on my pc I would be very inclined to do a full disk check (right click drive, properities, tools, check_now, set both check boxes, start (probable need to reboot and let it run - assume it will need 90 min or so).
this action should resolve the "freeze" issues.
as for the crash, the above scan might help but the crash itself its probably caused by doing an upgrade install versus a complete un-install of one then a fresh install of the next.
good luck.

Hi,
I understand that's not so easy to create a software that runs for all PC on the world. But why doesn't answer Acronis? And when I read the messages in this Forum there are a lot of problems with True Image 2010?
I installed TrueImage 2010 new. I deleted the old version before.
Anyway, when I starts the backup offline (from bootable recovery CD) the backup runs without problems and it is finish nearly an hour. But that's not the solution. It has to run online. The system hangs always when it will block partition C.
Thanks for an answer, Pius

Hi,
Now, I think the problem about ATI2010 on my PC is solved. First I installed ATI2010 new and then the SnapAPI, which is mentioned in other messages. After that I started the backup and it runs correct and fast. For my partition C (200GB) it needed a time of 30 minutes.
Thanks for your help, Pius
