I want to save the image of my notebook preinstalled
asus before starting the first boot of Windows 7. is it possible?

One way would be to boot from a TrueImage Home Rescue CD and perform a disk option backup of all partitions.

If you are a registered user of TrueImage, you already have the tools.

You cannot do it with the trial version of TrueImageHome if that was your question.

If the installed disks are either Seagate or Western Digital, the available utilty from the vendor may be capable of doing this which is a special TrueImage version special for that vendor. I have not used this special version so am unsure of its capability. What you are wanting is have a CD without installing the software to create such a CD. You can do that with the purchased version of TrueImage (download the bootable media option) but unsure of the free special vendor version.

Once you boot for the first time into Windows, usually there is a provided utility to make a recovery CD of its exact condition.
