Backup "operation failed"

Thread needs solution

 Hi Guys,

I'm testing driving Acronis True Image Home 2010 before buying.

Trying to perform my first back up... simply I keep getting an immediate error saying "operation failed"... this is via 'one click backup'...

Output of the log file enclosed below...

Hello Edward,

I understand the question and will do everything possible from my side to solve the issue.

The source of the issue is  SnapAPI drivers malfunction which was probably caused by third-party software eg. another backup/restore solution or antivirus software. First of all I would recommend you to install 503 SnapAPI drivers using the following KB article.

If the issue remains please temporarily disable any antivirus software and check Acronis functionality.

Let me know if you need further assistance.

Thank you.
