Backup regime not implemented

Thread needs solution

I came across this as a result of an error message, saying thay my backups were corrupt. When I went to browse the backups, it was clear that the regime I setup has not been observed. See the attached file.

The four most recent backups are present, but none preceding these until as far back as last november. It was my impression that backups would be deleted as they "fell off" the end of the list as it were, first in, first out. Clearly this is not the case, and Acronis is in fact deleting the wrong archives. I.E. It is unreliable.

Don't know how many backups you're talking about or how complicated your tak(s) is (are) or if you are using ATI 2011? But assuming they are relatively simple and you're using ati2011: start ATI, then in Windows Explorer move the backups to another location if you want to keep them; then delete the task/backups from within ATI (if you've moved them it will note that it can't find the backup when yo try to delete it within ati -- that's okay, it still clears it out the entry from the ati database which is what you want -- when you're done there should be no task remaining onthe ATI screeen -- it a task remains, delete it, then create a new task/backup to the empty location.
