Backup SSD and SATA drives.

Thread needs solution

I have a new PC with a 120GB SSD and a 2TB SATA drive. Running Windows 7 64bit.

I have the operating system on the SSD as well as the most important and frequently used programs. 80GB has been used. On the SATA drive I have a lot of other programs installed as well as photographs and data. About 500GB has been used and I don't expect it to exceed 1TB.

My external drive is a 2TB USB drive and I am unsure how to go about backing up everything with ATI. So far I have been just backing up the SSD but think maybe I should also do the SATA drive.

Should I do them separately or can they be done together?

How would they be restored?

You can perform imaging of both drives under the one task. Personally I would make two tasks one per drive for more flexibility, for example, you might want to make more frequent images of your OS drive than your data drive or the other way around, with one task you are stuck with one frequency.
