Backups cannot be started after upgrade to 2011
Hello,
i opened a support ticket about the following and would like to discuss this here as well.
I run ATIH 2011 on a Windows XP Professional computer.
The drive "S:" is an external USB drive for my backups.
I have several backups, that i cannot continue to run after upgrading from ATIH 2009 to 2011.
For example:

So, i have 1 full and 5 differential backups (as correctly shown in ATIH).
If i try to create the next one, it does stop.
When i try to visit the backup location, it says "Backup-Speicherort konnte nicht gefunden werden. S:\ACRONIS_Lenovo_VirtualMachines\Lenovo_VirtualMachines5(1).tib"
So, it searches for a filename containing "(1)" which just does not exist - and should not!
Also, i shows an error code: 0x00640004, but this is not explained - not even on the webpage mentioned!
What can i do?
I have more backups with that problem!
P.S. Poking around started the backup "-rwx------+ 1 SYSTEM SYSTEM 4194304 2010-10-05 18:47 Lenovo_VirtualMachines511.tib*
", so instead of continuing with "6" after "5", it continued with "511"!!!

More strange things:
I tried to create a screenshot with MWSnap - but ATIH always pops into the background, when i try to catch some part of it!

I manged to create a snapshot manually ...
Here it is shown that ATIH 2011 just creates new, unusable entries in the list.
It should not create nothing!
There is an existing Backup:

Everything worked till ACRONIS_Lenovo_DokumenteUndEinstellungen(1)11.tib, created by ATIH 2009 as an incremental backup.
Then, ATIH 2011 started a NEW full backup instead of an incremental one: ACRONIS_Lenovo_DokumenteUndEinstellungen1(2).tib
Today, i wanted to update at least THIS backup, but it just started to create a full backup AGAIN: ACRONIS_Lenovo_DokumenteUndEinstellungen1(2)2.tib
I stopped the backup as i had not enough time and space for another full backup.
This does not seem to be read by Acronis staff?!?
