Blue Screen after Clone to SSD
Using ATI 2014 on a new Dell 8700. I installed a 240gb SSD and cloned the C drive and backup partition to the SSD.
Clone ran successfully. I am able to specify the SSD as the boot drive and it does boot to the W7 desktop
(quickly at that) but after a few seconds gets a blue screen and reboots back to the original standard
hard drive.
Nothing was put on the new computer other than ATI 2014 so I am not concerned about losing data.
I can wipe the drive and do a clean install if necessary but was hoping the clone would work.
Any thoughts?
Thanks in advance

Thanks. It's been over a week but I have been out of town.
Ok, disconnected HDD and rebooted to SSD. Same result. HDD boots and runs fine. SSD boots but gets immediate BSD.
Checked for driver or bios updates and all appears up to date.
Suggestions?

I am going to go out on a limb here and suggest that you possibly have a disk drive driver issue. Check to see if your bios is set for IDE mode. If it is I would say that your SSD needs or wants to operate in AHCI mode so it crashes immediately after boot attempt.
Try booting into Safe Mode (hit F8 repeatedly during boot) and see if it will boot that way if the above is true. If so you can while in safe mode run regedit and tell activate AHCI mode then reboot normally and Windows will load the correct drivers.
