Bluescreen while backing up! can I continue same backup?

Total backup was like 28 hours, only had 4 hours left to go... then bluescreened DPC_Watch_dog violation. Had this a few times before Don't know why it happens.

I left the pc totally alone while backing up.
Only connected a mp3 player and was transferring some mp3 to the player from the same HDD the backup was stored to. Then went to sleep half an hour later, as the backup was still running, with the mp3 transfer still ongoing.

I woke up and found the bluescreen.

Is there any way for me to continue my backup? I had it split to 100GB parts. Can I just delete the latest part and continue somehow?

Or is it imperative for me to start once again a fresh backup hoping I won't get bluescreened lol..
