Boot disk help file on EU English version is in FRENCH!

Thread needs solution

Has anyone else noticed that the help file on the startup CD generated by the EU English version is in FRENCH?? I am in Scotland and we speak English! Is there a way to fix this? How on earth did such a basic problem arise? Basic issues like this affect customer confidence in the product. You don't need much product testing to identify this sort of issue...

I have the same problem in Canada, boot disk boots in French, I have to use an online translator on another computer to figure out what to do.

I think your title should have been M'aidez Mayday, our entente isn't cordial.

Is the online ISO version the same?

Deanpw, it is possible you are using the French boxed version. Is the serial number in your Acronis web-account for the boxed version? You can always download English bootable media from your Acronis web-account.

I have tried both disks, it installs in english but when you DOS boot from the disk it turns French. I checked my BIOS etc everything is english, I think it was just a mistake with the language file when the disk was made. I will try downloading the version then. Yes it is a boxed version bought at London Drugs.

This is true - the issue has been reproduced on our side and the development team is notified. They shall fix it in the next build of Acronis True Image Home 2012.
