Bootable CD Won't Load Past Loading Screen. Auto Restart

Thread needs solution

I am trying to boot into the Acronis True Image 2014 bootable CD and while I can get to the splash screen, I cannot get past it on my PC and it keeps on automatically shutting my computer down. Thinking the CD was bad, I tested it out on my laptop, but I was able to boot into the bootable CD just fine. However when I test it again on my PC, it boots into the Acronis splash screen then just automatically shuts my computer down. I really need to get this working as I have very important documents to recover. Anyone know what I can do?

I am having problems with my bootable media too. I have created both a USB Flash drive and DVD/CD bootable and I've changed my bios boot order. I get the Acronis Spalsh screen loaded, I select to start Acronis True Image 2014 it goes through a linux/Dos Procedure until I finally get a message "Fixing recursive fault but reboot is required!". I am stuck and have to simply reboot and go through the same cycle. I have tried a CD, the iso downloaded off the acronis website as a CD and a USB. I suspect it's something to do with my bios or hardware?
Please help as I am trying to upgrade my HDD and I cannot see how I have done anything wrong or what i could even try different?
My understanding is that I cannot even create a back up and restore it on the new harddrive with out this media starting True image properly?

I solved it by recovering via Acronis in Windows.. So lucky that method worked >.>

I solved this by using a different product, cloned my HDD.
I should mention the bootable media worked on other machines just not the dell Inspiron laptop I was trying to upgrade.

Hi Alex, I also get ""Fixing recursive fault but reboot is required!" error when using a recovery CD on a Dell Inspiron laptop. I've applied the suggested bootable media start up parameter suggested in http://forum.acronis.com/forum/27368 :
quiet acpi=off noapic
but the error still occurs. What was the different product you used?
