Bough new Windows 7 PC. Need to download Upgrade to Acronis

Thread needs solution

My old system crashed. Rather than restore, I bought a new PC and transferred over the data. None of the Applications transferred so I need to download Acronis. I already paid for the product - do I just buy the 2014 Version Upgrade and install that or do I need the base 2013 version to already be installed. If yes - I have easy access to the previous version from my old disk and can copy it to my new Program Files folder - what do I run to get the base 2013 version installed onto the new PC?

No, you do NOT need to have 2013 installed as the 2014 installation file will be a standalone program.

You will need to input both your new 2014 serial number plus input the old 2013 serial as you bought the upgrade.
If you registered the 2013, the 2013 serial number is available to you from your account.
YOu can also download the current version of 2014 from you account after the 2014 serial registration has been completed.

When you install onto the new pc, you may be asked to de-activate the old version from the old pc and re-activate the new version onto the new pc. The process is pretty self explanatory.
