BUG ??? FTP operations are broken in bootable DVD/FLASH DRIVE ???
Hi,
I use HP Elite Book Folio 1040 g1. Trying to backup, "C" partition and store it on my FTP server.
I have created bootable DVD, and booted from it.
When I attempt to create new FTP connection I get error: "Cannot connect to FTP server, check your username and password".
I have check my FTP server logs, even “sniffed” network traffic (sniff attached), and found, that Acronis FTP client, merely CLOSES the connection on STARTUP , even not, getting into authentication phase.
I have tried, different versions of Acronis: 5539 Build and 6055 Build, also, booting from flash drive, got into same results.
Although, notebook booted from Acronis DVD/FLASH is PINGable, and has network connectivity.
I cannot check 2011 version, because it does not, recognize network adapter on laptop.
It is strange, but everything works perfectly, when I do same things, from Windows 7 loaded computer, with installed Acronis application.
I think, it is possible BUG, in bootable version, or it cannot properly work with network adapter of my laptop.
STILL I NEED BOOTABLE VERSION OF ACRONIS, IN CASE OF DATA RECOVERING WHEN I UNABLE TO BOOT LAPTOP FROM HDD/SDD.
Any help will be appreciated.
