Can Acronis restore an "Image" created earlier by Windows 7?

I wanted to restore my computer to an image that I created with the Windows 7 built in image creator a few weeks ago but to my dismay, it could not find it on any drives. I have two backup images saved on separate drives and Windows recovery could not find them, yet they are definitely there.
Can "Acronis" find and restore at least one of my "backup images" created earlier with Windows 7 image backup creator ?
If if can, is there a step by step tutorial on how to do this?
