Can WINPE 4.0 with ATI be added to Windows 8 boot menu?

Thread needs solution

I've now got WINPE 4.0 with ATI booting from a flash drive after following the guide, though I'd like to integrate it more if its possible by putting it onto a small partition on one of my disks and then have it as a boot menu option under W8.

I did try already by using Easy BCD, selecting the WINPE location, and adding it to the start menu, but it failed. First off it added the old style Windows boot menu, WINPE became a boot option but failed to start because of missing a file. I'm not so interested in troubleshooting this as I'd like not to have to add the old Windows boot menu anyway. After this failed I restored the boot sector and I'm now back to square one.

Ideally then I'd like it to be added to the new W8 style start menu, but I can't find a guide to follow to do this. Does anyone know if it can be done?

All knowledge is out there...was straightforward in the end, EasyBCD and then restore W8 boot menu, so I now have WinPE with ATI on s small 240MB partition at the end of an SSD. It can be loaded from the W8 graphical menu, starts up in seconds and for me seems the best recovery solution.

Edward3,

Don't forget you will still need your flash drive version in case your main PC drive dies one day.
