Can you backup with a reboot within windows???
I backup my windows drive regularly but use the Boot CD because I get a better backup when windows isn't running.
When I restore my drive the program will reboot in dos and restore out of windows.
I want to know is there this option to reboot into a backup as well?
The older norton ghost used to do this because you get a better backup when not running windows.
I notice if I restore a backup that was made with within windows it's not as stable and has problems. But a restore made with the boot cd is more stable.
I just want to start the backup process within windows and then it would reboot, backup , and reboot back into windows when finished. This would be easier then having to keep a copy od a cd laying around all the time. plus I could schedule a backup so I don't have to be by the computer.

Hello all,
Thank you very much for your posts.
Mudcrab, I appreciate your kind assistance.
Scott,
I will do my best to help you. Thank you very much for your valuable feedback. I will submit an enhancement request so that we can include this feature in our software.
As a workaround, you can enable Acronis Startup Recovery Manager which functions in a similar way to the Boot CD, except all the files are stored on your machine and you will not have to boot your machine from the boot CD. Please check this article for additional information.
If you have additional questions, please let me know.
Thank you.
