Canceled Backup Prevents Other Backups
I’ve realized that in the world of software a newer version doesn’t necessarily mean a better one. In fact, many times a newer version brings with it significant issues. After upgrading to True Image 2014 from the 2013 version, every time there’s a canceled operation, for example due to the external hard drive not being connected, a “cancel operation” icon (a monitor with a red X) appears in the system tray and it prevents any other backup process to be performed until I restart Windows. Also, when I want to restart Windows I get the following message “Operations are in progress. Your computer will shut down after the operations are complete.” This is due to the “cancel operation icon” I mentioned earlier and the only way to get rid of this is by holding the power button to shut down my computer! I didn’t have this problem in True Image 2013, i.e. a canceled operation would not prevent anything, and the next scheduled backup would take place without a problem. I’m using Windows 7 64-bit. Please let me know how I can resolve this annoying issue, unless I need to revert back to True Image 2013!

The only ignore option is "Ignore bad sectors" which is unchecked and my external HDD doesn't have bad sectors. The options "When not enough space...delete the oldest backup" and "Repeat attempt if backup fails" are checked but I'm not sure if any of these have anything to do with this problem. I'm going to update to the latest version to see if that addresses the issue.

Unfortunately the update did not resolve the issue so I'm going to revert back to True Image 2013.
