Cannot Boot System at all.....
I have a HP a1730n desktop with Vista Home Premium. It also has ATR 2010 with plus pack.(Home).My backups are located on a removable USB drive.
I seem to be stuck in a boot loop-I don't ever make it to log on,either it tells me to to run start up repair or I get the BSOD with stop errors-0x0000001a,0x00005003,0xC0801000,0x00000009,0x0000B812.I ran the memory diagnostic test but cannot get the result because it appears after log in,which I can't get that far.
I try to use ATI boot disk but the program comes up then I get black screen that says ACRONIS "loading"-it does this for hours.
It won't complete HP recovery, which is still on machine-it goes to BSOD.
When I tried HP factory disks,it goes so far then BSOD.(it runs indicater bar, says" loading" and then BSOD.
Can't hear the hard drive at all and no lights blink like normal.
I wish I knew for sure that there is no hope,I don't have a problem replacing machine if thats what it needs, but I hate to replace-say the memory boards and spend that money and still need a new box
I changed machine to run DVD first when trying boot from acronis and then set everything back to default.
If anyone has any ideas I would appreciate it.Thank you very much.

I agree that the stop error codes probably indicate a RAM problem. Does your machine have more than one RAM module installed? Try starting the PC with some modules removed to see if you can find the bad one that way. For example, if you have two, try one at a time. Memtest will probably confirm that you have a RAM problem but you will then need to determine which module is defective.
