Cannot create bootable media

Thread needs solution

Apologies if this has appeared before, I browsed recent pages of posts and couldn't find much. And there seems to be no way to search only the ATI2015 forum.

I cannot create a bootable DVD.

It tells me to reinstall Acronis Bootable Media Creator. I did. Same thing. Big bunch of error codes:

Code: 1,572,875(0x0018000B)

Message: ti_boot.so

I read the message about not installing the 64-bit version, but that doesn't work.

The link in the error message to the KnowledgeBase is, in keeping with ATI2015, blank.

I really don't want to use ATI2015 without this essential feature.

How can I get it to work?

Michael,

What type of DVD are you using + or - ?

In the past I think the - type had the most success. I can't help more on this as I use a USB stick and external hard drive to boot the recovery environment. Tablet = no DVD player.

Mmm, that obviously can't be the problem, now my recovery files are build 38934. Did i read in another post you are using a non published build of TI provided by development? If that is so, perhaps your build has a recovery media problem, or are you using th eISO available from your Acronis Account?
