Cannot find the path specified

Thread needs solution

I have a registered version of Acronis 2011;  and I have a password. When I attempt to do the back up to the F: drive I get the message "Cannot find the path specified".  No indication is given of the path.  I have run chkdsk on that drive and it runs successfully, no errors.  The disk is about 40% full and apart from System Volume Information only contains one folder, or backup files.  Backup has previously worked OK.

It have examined the error log, but again no indication is given of where to look for the problem or how to correct it.

I am trying to make contact with Acronis support through this website, but am just going round in circles.  Would anyone be able to give me guidance on how to contact Acronis support?

I click on Customer support  | Contact support but am never able to log an enquiry.  I appreciate that this is the wrong forum, but would be grateful for guidance.

Thanks.  Andrew Mozley

The most common cause with this error is

1. User or program  deleted the missing file.

2. Drive letter on the target storage disk differs from the drive letter assigned to target at time of task creation, often  a different drive letter assigned by Windows due to the insertion of a flash drive, etc. Confirm that current drive letter assigned to the target disk is the same as originally assigned.

-----------------------------------

One option might be to create a new backup task and point the new task to the current target disk. Assign a different task name and a different folder name for the storage location.
