Cannot produce good boot disk TI 2011 - "TI has not found any hard drives"
I cannot produce a boot disk for 2011 successfully. No mouse and system locks up indicating that TI has not found any hard drives.
I started using True Image Home 2011 because I installed a USB 3 drive and wanted to use it for my images. I have been using TI 2009 and it served my purposes fine.
The disk that is produced does not implement the mouse once I get past the initial screen that asks to select True image or go to Windows. I select True image I then have no mouse, and more improtantly when I used key strokes to try to restore I locks up with a message that says " E 000101F4 - True Image has not found any hard drives"
I looked at the knowledge base and subsequenly installed BartPE & Safe Media. But that changed nothing.
I did download the boot program from Acronis under TI 2011 and that works but is too complicated to do a restore with and I've never sucessfully did a restore with it.
I need help to make the boot disk generated by TI 2011 to work.

There are startup option you can enter when using the bootcd. For example, if your usb mouse doesn't work when you load the bootcd then do this,
start a boot from the boot cd, when you get the first acronis screen press F11 which will then allow you to enter parameters on the command line shown on the screeen, which normally only shows the parameter "quiet". tab your cursor to the command line, type usbmouse=off then tab to the enter button and press enter. ATI will load and your mouse should then work.
You can also, when you create the bootcd make it force the parameters so they are used automatically each time it boots.

using computers is complicated and using any useful tools is complicated too. Always a good idea to read the instructions:
