William,

Are you saying that the upgrade has not recognised your previous backups from the earlier build, or are they backups from an earlier version?

Apparently the upgrade does not place a backup on the list that was backed up by the previous build.. Just now tested on a backup that was created with this new build. It was NOT placed on the list either.
Another problem is that a scheduled backup does NOT wake the computer. This was a problem on the previous build too. Thought Acronis may have fixed it.

Strange, I have one backup and it was recognised.

Was your original build an upgrade from 2010 or similar or a full version?

It was an upgrade from 2010. I understand, though, that the upgrade was a full installation.
Maybe I am doing this wrong. This is what I do.
On the Home page the last backup is displayed. I wish to add another backup to this list. (I keep the latest 5 backups.)
I click on "browse for backups".
I select (highlight) a backup that is not the latest.
I click on "Add to backup list".
I am taken back to the Home page. The backup is not added.

There was or maybe still is a problem validating 2010 images and auto filling some tasks in 2011. The workarounds for getting the tasks listed were/are.

1. Manually find the task, then after clicking it, restart 2011 the database should update itself.

2. Deleting the TI database and then open 2011 which will rebuild the task and image list.

For validation, right clicking in Explorer wont' work, but selecting a validation task for the image should. Obviously using the recovery CD will also validate as it isn't running in Windows.

Tried #1 and it did NOT do anything for me.
On #2, where is the TI database and what is it's name?
