Can't configure my backups to a network drive

Thread needs solution

I've just re-installed ATIH2012, and when I try to create a new back up, it won't let me continue if I select a network device to back up to.

See screenshot attached.

It does this with ANY network location, whether my server (shown), my NAS, or shared folders on my wife's machine. All these locations are accessible by any other means... just ATIH2012 won't accept them.

I can't back up!!!!

I urgently need help, and because Acronis's after sales support is ****, I have to rely on this forum, or PAY to make a damned phonecall.

Norton Ghost never looked so good, and I got a free copy with my SSD.... Hmmm...

Click on the destination, choose browse to see the window that allows you to select a new destination, unfold the network folder, select your server, *and click on the "edit/enter credentials" link*. Test that ATI can successfully connect to it. What happens?
