Can't open picutres, videos, some folders don't have permission - Windows 8 :: True Image 2013
Thread needs solution
I backed up with versio 2009 or 2010. I updated to windows 8 and using True Image 2013 to restore.
If I try using recover individual files photos, mp3, videos don't work; but if I drag and drop they work. I would drag and drop everything, but it is a very slower process that way
UPDATE: fixed it. Before recovering files I went to options and un-check "Keep security". Windows Vista & Windows 8 have different security methods, so it screwed the files up.
