Can't Register My Product

I was hoping today would be the day that all things tech would run smoothly, but alas, such is not the case (surprise, surprise).

I purchased PC BackUp and Recovery and no matter how many times I enter my serial #, I am told it is invalid.

I am entering the number that is above the bar code on the end of the box, and looks like this: XXXX-##-XX-XX-X-XX.

Is this correct?

Never mind, I found the right numbers on the envelope. I thought the outside of the package was a strange place to put a s.n.
