Can't update

Thread needs solution

Each time I open the program it tells me that there is a newer version available and would I like to update it, I say yes and it begins the process then I get a message that I have the most recent version. Anyone know why this happens? It is rather annoying to get the New version available constantly and then be told I have the newest.

1. Check which version you have (under the Help menu).
2. If it's not the latest, which is Build 7119, then login to your Acronis account and download the latest build.
3. Uninstall the existing installation prior to installing a newer version.

Is this the process to update each time a newer version is out? Why can't it be as simple as Yes I want to update (click box)

I believe that it is that simple for many users. However, some users have experienced issues when updating using the update command. The method I offered is more work, but potentially safer.

But, the first thing I suggested is that youheck which version you currently have. You haven't reported back on that. Some users find that the update worked, but they weren't aware of it. Check what you have installed.
