Cloning failed: acronis bootable agent is waiting for removable devices

Thread needs solution

source: lenovo ideapad y560 (wd scorpio blue 640gb)
Destination: Toshiba 9.5 mm 1tb usb 3.0 enclosure.
Did everything automatically, restart, booted in acronis operation process and acronis shows this error: one or more removable disks may not have started at the moment. When i click yes, acronis shows this message again and when i click no, acronis restart the system and boot the system normally.
What should i do to force acronis detect the enclosure?

Is windows recognizing the disk? If not the issue is not ati. you might need to initialize or format the disk.

If windows is recognizing but ati isn't:

are you using ati under windows or from the boot cd? Try the other way.

Are you connected to USB hub? try connecting directly.

Usb 3 port, try another port or a usb 2 port just to see if the disk is recognized.

Hi
Did you check my lenovo model: all usb ports of y560 is usb 2.
Yes windows fully recognize it.
I use it in windows 7 hp 64 bit.
Tried all ports, nothing happens.
Even formated the hdd with ati doesn't change anything.

Directly connected omega usb 3 enclosure to usb 2 port of my laptop.

Hello SS SM,

welcome to Acronis Forum!

First of all please note that cloning of laptop disks has its own specific. Namely, you need to put the new drive to the laptop and the old drive should be connected via USB. In this article you'll find a step-by-step guide.

If it doesn't help, please start cloning from WinPE-based media.

Thank you.
