Hi, I have a couple of Linux USB drives (Mint & SuperOS), that I want to image. TI 2009 creates an image without protest. I then restore to another USB stick, but will not boot. All drives are 4 gigs.

I've also tried Drive Image, with the same bad results. Any ideas here?

I regret to inform you that Acronis True Image Home 2009 doesn't support Linux distribution, so we cannot guarantee the stability of work of restored system. You can find the list of supported OSes in this KB article.

In this case we can suggest only to try cloning operation, but cannot guarantee it will work.

Hi, Thanks for your response. I will try the cloning tomorrow.

If we select sector-by-sector when imaging, shouldn't that be "OS blind" and created a good image no matter what the OS or file system?

As I understand 'supported' OS is an os the product can be installed on. From this kb, http://kb.acronis.com/content/1538 TI 2009 supports some Linux file systems, and there are no notes related to bootability limitations.
