Cloning Linux USB drives
Hi, I have a couple of Linux USB drives (Mint & SuperOS), that I want to image. TI 2009 creates an image without protest. I then restore to another USB stick, but will not boot. All drives are 4 gigs.
I've also tried Drive Image, with the same bad results. Any ideas here?

Hi, Thanks for your response. I will try the cloning tomorrow.
If we select sector-by-sector when imaging, shouldn't that be "OS blind" and created a good image no matter what the OS or file system?

I regret to inform you that Acronis True Image Home 2009 doesn't support Linux distribution, so we cannot guarantee the stability of work of restored system.
As I understand 'supported' OS is an os the product can be installed on. From this kb, http://kb.acronis.com/content/1538 TI 2009 supports some Linux file systems, and there are no notes related to bootability limitations.
