Cloud Backup Stopped working

Thread needs solution

Cloud Backup has been working fine for ages then suddenly start getting errors on 3rd June.

Event code: 0x00040017+0x00980648+0x00980412

I have tried deleting the backup and setting it up again but still get the error. The backups to external drives work fine.

Has anyone found a fix for this?

Mine stopped working on June 6.

Event code: 0x00040017+0x00980648+0x00980412 ... same as NJC.

Thanks for the suggestion but I am not sure that is it. I can log on to the Cloud portal at https://cloud-wr-eu1.acronis.com/index.htm absolutely fine so I don't think anything on my machine/router is blocking the ports.

The error event in the log seems to have changed a little too. It now says "There is a problem on the server. Please wait while it is being resolved."
Event code: 0x00040017+0x00980648+0x00980411

Anything else we should try or is the error at Acronis' end?

I was getting the same message. Technical Support was able to resolve my problem and I have completed a few online backups successfully. Here are the steps I followed. They may solve your problem NJC.
1) Stop Acronis True Image 2014.
2) Rename the folder on link
C:\ProgramData\Acronis\TrueImageHome\OnlineBackup to C:\ProgramData\Acronis\TrueImageHome\OnlineBackup_old
and
C:\ProgramData\Acronis\TrueImageHome\OnlineBackupLogCash to C:\ProgramData\Acronis\TrueImageHome\OnlineBackupLogCash_old
3) Then, launch the software and run online backup again.
