Good morning,
You confirm with Build 4515!
Because I know that Build 6614 and later is compatible
Thanks

Build 6614 is the earliest build that is certified for Windows 8.1.

Where did you get Build 4515?
Is it some OEM version packaged with a HDD?

I also have TI 2014 (latest build) and, having purchased a new laptop running windows 8.1 (I believe it has the UEFI BIOS) I tired to do a backup from the boot disk.
It booted OK to the TI screen, went through the usual procedure to select backup & destination etc. , I pressed start and....nothing....it just sat there !

After 15 minutes I aborted and inspected the backup drive and there was a small file on it with nothing that I could access, I tried again with the same disappointing result - it worked perfectly with a previous laptop running Win 7.

Ideas appreciated

IF you chose to load Acroinis UEFI then try legacy. If you don't get this choice when starting the bootCD, then go into UEFI and change the setting from UEFI to legacy.

That works on some PCs.

Apologies for what is probably an obvious question.....once you know ! ......but where do I change those settings - on the laptop or in Acronis ?

Thanks

David,
This is done in the laptops BIOS.
