Correct License Key

Thread needs solution

I have multiple True Image 2011 licenses. I entered the wrong key when registering an installation. I entered a key already used on another computer. I would like to correct the key to one I purchased that is not in use. Is there a way to do that? Normally there is a link on the Welcome screen to register that displays the prompt to enter the key, but since the software is already registered, that link is no longer available. Thanks.

Thanks for the suggestions. The KB article references menu items that exist for the 2012 version, but not for the 2011 version. If I had those menu options, my problem would be solved. As it is, it looks like the only solution is to uninstall the program and reinstall it. I'm not sure if that will clear the license key, or if I'll have to use the cleanup utility. It just seems like blowing up a house to get rid of a fly.

If there is no way to change the license key in the 2011 version, does anyone know of a way to remove the registration information so the program thinks it is unregistered and prompts me again to register it?

We apologise for any inconvenience resulting from your license activation issue. I regret to say that Acronis True Image Home 2011 does not support the several license activation options as Acronis True Image Home 2012 currently does. To address your issue, the ideal solution to multiple machine activation scenarios is to follow Grover's suggestion to perform an uninstallation of your product from the issue-specific machine and, in turn, a reinstallation, to have the option to supply this very machine with a new license key for proper administering.
