Creating a Bootable Media
I am not very technical and have a question about creating an Acronis Bootable Media disk. There is an option "Command-line parameters" that I do not understand. I left it blank and continue on and finished creating the disk. Everything seemed normal except for the comment on the display page that indicated "No autostart configured". Is this something I should be concerned about? I read the help explanation about entering the command-line parameter but it didn't mention anything about the autostart option.
Any help will be appreciated.

Thank you Pat. What does that mean if I don't have an auto-start? Does it mean my system will come as normal. I'm not sure what happens when you use a recovery CD. I guess I better do some research on the subject.
Thanks again..............Ralph

Ralph,
There is no risk trying your CD, except wasting the CD if you don't like the way it behaves.
Try with a USB stick, and there is no waste :-)
If you don't have auto-start, I don't think it matters. Finalize your medium, make sure that your BIOS settings are such that you can boot on a CD/USB depending on your medium, reboot on your medium.
You will see a menu, hopefully you can click on the item you want generally (True Image Home), and here you go...
You absolutely need to try your CD, and make sure you can access your backups, your disks, use your mouse, keyboard, etc...

Wow, thanks for all that information. I need to really study up on what you have suggested I do because I have no idea what you mean by trying with a USB stick and no waste. Can you suggest a source where I can study up on the process one must follow to test the CD and what I should expect to see when I do. If you know of a link that will help I would appreciate it as I don't want to keep asking dumb questions without first trying to find out for myself. What I currently have are 2 full pack validated backups on separate USB devices, a Seagate FreeAgent 250 GB drive and a Seagate 740 GB expansion drive. I apologize for asking so many questions.
Thanks again Pat............Ralph

Yes. Check out this

Paragraph 2
NB: don't pay too much attention to my "waste" warning. I was just saying that if you burn a CD and you don't like its behavior, you will have to burn another one, whereas with a bootable USB stick, you just redo it. A USB stick is also faster than a CD, but not all computers support booting from a USB device. Check your BIOS.

Thanks again Pat and sorry for my delay in responding as yesterday was a busy day. I have started studying the information you provided via that link. Looks like some good info.
